Best Buy

I personally haven't had any really bad experiences with Best Buy. Their prices for CDs are a bit extreme, but otherwise, they're pretty good. However, their stores are some of the most obnoxious places I've ever had the misfortune to stumble into. The store's anti-theft alarm, usually set at maximum volume (haven't these people ever heard of silent or visual signalling?), is usually blasting constantly, due to inventory control tags being improperly placed on merchandise where they cannot be electromagnetically deactivated by the cashiers (at least that's my theory, but, it could just be pure ignorance.) Display models of almost everything (aside from stereos) are usually non-functioning, and the stereos are usually left blasting by either store personnel or customers. Two words: Wear earplugs.
