  Downtown's out there at the horizon.  Looking north. Downtown Fort Lauderdale's visible!  The second of three bays is mounted...   All three bays are up. This is the transmit antenna here.   Looking up a guy wire. Why? Because I could.  Phillystran nonmetallic wire - this is going to be used to replace the guy lines that run near the antenna elements, to avoid electromagnetic quagmires.  Here's the end. I think you're looking at Kevlar fiber here. It's stronger than steel, but cuts with a knife. It's also $3.50 a foot or so. Welcome to the future. No, our cars do not fly yet.
