  The label on the projection display. The lamps seem to be intentionally run at a low voltage to make them last longer. With up to 12 bulbs installed on each display digit, this is kinda important. I have yet to figure out what the other two do...  The clock is hardwired for a 24-hour display format. This stepper relay keeps track of the hour. It's a 4 pole, 24 throw. It's got two sets of moving contacts - the set not currently on the semicircle of fixed contacts is visible hanging out the side.  A top view of the hour relay, and some of the display lamp sockets.   Wiring to the hour relay   Running in the dark, light spills from the back of the displays.  The same thing, from the front...  ... and, at the backs of the displays themselves.
